Rear Hub Question...never saw this one...

A neighbor is tossing out her 1970 or so Schwinn Breeze. Of course I can't let the Sanitation truck crush it, so I'll play with it when I get a chance. But...I took a look at the rear hub and was surprised to see this type. I've never seen one, and the bike is all original.

Can someone out there enlighten me as to what type this is?

Never Mind! I just found one online. It's a coaster brake Bendix 70...as mundane as it gets. Hah! I thought I had found something unique, lol!
