Hello. I am in dire need of help. I purchased this tandem bicycle in 1996. It was missing the head badge. It has Torrington handle bars, a Mesinger B • De Lux • 1 Pat. No 1585405 men's saddle, the woman's saddle has no markings, Morrow hubs with the inch pitch chain and crank sets, the front handle bars have a wing nut with a gear - teeth like system to be able to adjust the handle bars according to the lady's build as she would be sitting in front. It is also a rear steering tandem. It uses a cable only at the base of both steering columns on a pulley system. No chains or teeth in this design. The head badge has a triangle formation for the screws. In the photos you will see nails sticking out from the screw hole locations. The roll cage around the cranks is one thing that really stands out. It is all original. I thought it might possibly be 1920's - 1930's Era. But I am really not sure. It could be older. The serial number is 11486. The original color was a light green color. Someone had painted it black at some point. I am looking for any and all information in regards to the make and model, color design and history. I've had this for 25 years now and I would REALLY love to restore it back to its original condition or as close as possible. Thank you.

The wheels are 26" balloon. The rear wheel drops out the back due to the fact it has axle tensioners. I added a photo of the cranks. The single chainring which I don't believe is original. And good luck on yours too.
