In other words a Phake Phantom, it's surely not a Reproduction. Nice looking but overpriced phake though.

I'm not sure if that's even a Schwinn frame. o_O

Yeah, {grin] there's so many parts wrong on this, fake and mimic are unfitting. Is it a Schwinn frame? Tank doesn't fit, bolt on kickstand, integrated seat post clamp, is it a Murray? But me tinks Pre-2002 Schwinn or PC might have done this cheap change and those chrome rims. What are those, the Murray's Schwinn used in the mid 80's?

Appears to be a plain red frame with poorly sized and placed painted black darts, diamond and pin stripes added.

Springer fork must be Schwinn's 'Anniversary' and or post 2000, made for the narrower Schwinn fenders. Fender brackets; china universal. China seat.

Maybe it's pieced together with an assortment of parts from the local metal scrap yard.

But hey, never been ridden and only $1200 and it's a display. :), and me also tinks seller wrote: "REPRODUCTION" In capital, b/c peeps been telling them for years: 'Dude, who you kidding? That ain't no friggen Phantom!'
