I need to remove some links from a skip tooth chain. I'm looking to hear everyone's techniques for doing it. Definitely doesn't fit my chain breaker tool. Pretty sure it's original to the bike. Guess it has stretched over it's 71 years. It puts the wheel too far back in the fender. I got the master link off and now just need to remove some links.

If nothing else, you could grind the heads off, and use a punch to drive the pin out.

I use a standard chain breaker. I just bend the small link upwards since it won't fit in the slot.
