here's a tip , if the pedal block pins have removable nuts you can service the pedals
If the block pins have snap rings on the pins or a back plate that grips the block you can't service the pedal , with a few exceptions

Dipped em in a bucket with soapy water and spun them upside down for a long time and now the grinding is all gone.

I did the same thing with mineral spirits,worked great.Now get some fresh oil in there

try aerosol can of white lithium grease. it will weep in the nooks and crannies, should reach the bearings.
