Reproduction tool box tank question.

Just wondering if anyone knows what brand of bikes this tank fits. It has some slight surface rust but overall condition is nice

It might be for sale if I can’t find a use for it.

Not sure if reproduction, perhaps instead an old-stock aftermarket bicycle accessory.

Might also fit the taller frame Westfield (who also happened to supply Shapleigh hardware about then).

I have not seen too many taller-frame Westfield motorbikes in 26" (maybe more 28"-ers?),

These are real. There was a big stash of these found in Ohio about 20 years ago.

These are NOS McCauley tanks (Model No. 1000?). I remember a guy about eight or nine years ago showing up at MLC with at least a couple boxes of these and selling them at $100 a pop. Evidently there must have been a pallet of these because I've seen a bunch on the market over the years. I'm not sure if they fit anything except the '35 Shelby but I have seen people modify them to fit other bikes. V/r Shawn
