Rescued A Huffy... something or another!

Hey Everyone,
I’m new here, have got a Huffy bicycle from my Father in law’s wood shed. Trying to decipher the serial number to help determine it’s year. The bottom has not only a number, but initials and a address stamped onto the frame. Serial number: 45784. Initials: MJH. Addresss: 157 Spruce St. The tires are 26 x 1.75. The bicycle has been painted blue, beneath that is a coat of red and even further it looks to be originally a blue or teal color. Thank you for your help.

Welcome, That does not appear to be the serial number. Looks hand stamped like the address. I would say a 1960's Huffy the serial number should be on the rear dropout. Left side. Where the rear wheel bolts on. Good luck with your project.

Factory serial no may be stamped elsewhere look on rear dropouts and seat tube perhaps. Looks like late 50's early 60's

This is my 1961 Huffy roadmaster rescued recently from a wet basement - looks same vintage as yours - check rear dropout leftside for a serial number.

If a bike is an AMF Roadmaster, then it is not a Huffy.

My bad, I stand corrected - this is the Huffy found in the same basement!
