Cruisin' on my Bluebird
Well I have started the long tedious process of the restoration on my 1939 WH Comet. So first I cut diagrams of all the decals and stripes on the fenders, tank and frame. Then I made a trip to the paint shop and had them digitally color match the paint. So far I have worked the frame down and primed it with Sem's Red Oxide primer and then wet sanded the frame with 600 grit. cleaned the frame and painted it with three coats of Nason Acrylic Enamel paint.
Here is how the frame turned out.
I am still going to go back and wet sand the frame with 1500 and then buff it to a really nice shine.
I almost couldn't wait to get up this morning to see how it turned out.

Now it's on to the tank and fenders.

Good start & paint looks great. You got on this one in a hurry. Can't wait to follow your progress.

Great job on the frame, looks awesome! Looking forward to more pics!
