Riding a '38 Autocycle Deluxe
Restored early Stingray bicycle ...early 65' with the 64' profile 'shorty' frame. Fully restored with all plating done NOS Westwind front tire, original NICE Schwinn Stingray Slick....S-2 with red band Bendix hub ...
All plating done, NOS pedals, beautiful 'smoothie' early 65 matte finish saddle restored to perfection
with reflector hanger and NOS reflector. White Chubby grips and the kicker....Bike was painted with a
pint can of original Schwinn factory Flamboyant Lime paint. Factory paint folks. Just barely enough
to cover the bike and guard... looks great overall.... a few light spots on bottom tubing but hey..this
happened at the factory too! In my opinion the coolest Schwinn Stingray model that most closely
resembles the muscle bike/ muscle car image Schwinn was emulating with these 'drag' bikes early
on. Much rarer than the Krate series and cleaner lines than the Super Deluxe and deluxe Stingrays..
again, my opinion, be your own judge. Original parts and correct aside from steering tube (Krate)
and stem, a couple of small paint chips from assembly not very noticeable. 2200.00 shipped anywhere US lower 48
Maybe the only restored J-33 with original vintage Schwinn factory paint?
