Riding a '38 Autocycle Deluxe
Cycl'art screwed more unsuspecting collectors out of hard earned cash restoring their balloon bikes
than anybody else on earth....insane prices...bizarre layouts and lots of clear coat for the 'shiny'.
That being said...here is an older Cycl'art restoration of a B6. Some decent parts on board..
drum brake and NOS single Knurled S2 wheels with heavier whizzer gauge 105 spokes, newer 70s era Bendix brake hub..Deluxe glass 3" reflector, Locking Spring fork
with original Arnold Schwinn & Co key, and what looks to be a practically NOS "CycleTruck" prewar sliding Mesinger saddle.
Not shown, a set of Persons Majestic pedals. Nice NOS looking or very close, Carlisle WW tires.
The paint alone on this bike was probably in the 1500-1800 range and that was 20-25 years ago.
There are chips and scratches...looks like most of the plating was rechromed except the wheels...
Parts look to be original, B6 fenders, tank, 6 hole rack etc.
1600.00 as you see it...
Or it goes to the BUTCHER block where restorations of this level belong...
still a cool Rider as she sits...sorry just not a fan of J Cunningham and his way overpriced
poorly executed restoration paint work.
1600.00 plus shipping...
if it doesn't sell in a day or so...check with the parts dept.
