I've had good luck with water, Dawn dish soap, and a little bit of clorox. ONLY DAWN- Other soaps will create a gas! I soaked over night and they look great.

I may have mentioned this in another post but with white grips, I wash with Dawn getting all the surface dirt and grime off. I then put them in a mason jar with hydrogen peroxide, cap it, and set them outside on a sunny day. Several hours later, they look great.

Not the specific one i bought but I wrap the uv strand lights around the sides of the cup.
