Skidding on my '41 Schwinn Autocycle
A friend of mine was looking for low budget project to put in the back of his truck for swap meets, and car shows, and something to ride around the neighborhood. We got this frame and fork from sfhschwinn who parted out his Roadmaster project. Then we added some Schwalbe Fat Franks, rebuilt the hubs, repacked all the bearings, and installed an NOS skip tooth chain. Had an old repop seat and a Roadmaster tank, and he likes BMX pedals so we put a new pair on. It pedals as smooth as a new bike. Fun to ride, cheap to build.
