Rollfast prewar identification help

Hello, I am mostly a schwinn guy. I was wondering if anyone can help me Id this rollfast. Does this bike have much value other than the seat and bars? I’m guessing late 30’s-early 40’s? Not sure if the paint will come back to life being so faded. Any info is appreciated.

Maybe 1940–I ?
The paint might be “bonderized”.

Early '40 if that, they went to the four digit reverse year and factory code sometime during 1940.
