Look Ma, No Hands!
Picked up this Rollfast while back. Almost done tinkering with it, need to mount a chain, reupholster (or get a new one) seat and kick stand. Chain guard is not original, nor are the wheels, however they are period correct (I do have the original rear wheel). I've been having a hard time finding information on Rollfasts so I was wondering if anyone can identify it, year? Model? value?

Look at the bottom bracket for a number. Mine is a 1946 but the numbers are reversed as in 64. Serial number is on the downtube near the seat.
Here’s mine, serial #
1298905

Under bottom bracket stamped 64 for 1946
1298906

1298907

Serial will get you year but model may be hard to determine. Looks like fork is bent. Probably a couple hundred tops like it sits. V/r Shawn

Original post looks like a later 1940’s to middle 1950’s Rollfast, likely a more basic or standard model, less the deluxe or super deluxe features; (e.g., accent paint, chrome, accessories, etc.).

Found this 1940s brochure on eBay and the bike on the bottom looks like the op’s and the top one looks like mine less the truss rods which I’m looking for a set to put on. I was told over at the Rollfast Club about the same thing Archie posted previously. I was also told they were nicknamed “tall frames” cause the downtube measures 19” while most other frames were 18”.
