RUDGE question

I've owned a few Rudge-Whitworth bikes over the years, and this was how it was displayed on the chain guards. I've also seen just the name Rudge with "Britains Best Bike" beneath it. What years were just the latter used on the chain guard?

According to this - http://www.classicrendezvous.com/British_isles/Rudge_main.htm - Rudge was bought by Raleigh in 1943, so any Rudge you see was likely produced while it was part of Raleigh. But that's about all I know.
