No-date hubs come from the years right around WWII and a bit later. The red hand of Ulster chainring was used for decades. That crank arm style looks Raleigh-type. 1955 plate is probably a little after the bike was made, but not by a lot. Late 40s to early 50s bike probably. But that chainring and arm would be approprtiate for 1940s - 1970s bikes, but primarily 1940s-60s.
