I’ve heard that there are rust removing pads that can be rubbed on surface rust spots to remove rust.
Does anyone know what it is called, brand name?

Rubbing on rust is never a good idea.

Scotch Brite pads or 3M pads? Sanding, cleaning, polishing you name it, they do it all with various grits.

I’m referring to cloth pads that have a rust removing chemical in them....
