S7 rim question

I need to replace the S7 rear rim. Hub states 1956. I was thinking to keep the hub and just replace the rim but am wondering if all S7 rims have the same number of spokes to match my existing hub.

some are 28 some are 36

If the rim is for a 26" tire it would have 36 spokes. Post 64-65 S-7's would be side stamped versus center stamped if that makes any difference in your rebuild.

most 24 inch rims were 28 hole,count the number of spoke holes in your current hub
