Yes, the Duomatic is a two speed kick back coaster brake.

Overdrive or underdrive? What era is this hub and what bikes was it on?

1.0 and 1.36 so it's an overdrive 2nd gear. it's much like having only second and third of your typical three speed hub

Its missing the washers and nuts and, after reviewing the parts diagram, the dust cap as well apparently
