Salvageable?

Pulled from a barn, rim looks pretty clean. Hub works well. No dents in the actual rim, the hoop has a major issue as you can see from the pics. I know some rims can be repaired, this one raises doubt. What are your thoughts? Thanks

I'd be surprised if you could straighten that one out. Maybe salvage the hub and a few spokes and call it good.

Should be able to, pull all the spokes, lay it up against something and bend it back close, will take some work once its close within 1/2" or so. Then you should be able to lace it back up and tru it.

It looks like it it is just pretzeled. Loosen up the spokes and it could be popped back into shape. Worth a try.

Looks very fixable. Replace bad spokes and true wheel.
