Finally riding a big boys bike
1972 bike. Local pick up only. Serial number starts with a JH so a Sept 1972 bike. Original bike except rear tire was replaced is what I see, but come take a look for yourself. This was a one owner bike for almost 50 years. Comes with the Krate speedo as shown. Seat, guard, paint, chrome all original and in nice condition. Ready to ride. The only reason I am selling this bike is because I have another 1972 Orange Krate just like this that is NOS was in the original box when I got it buying it from my Schwinn dealer I purchased my first Stingray at when I was 9 years old back in1964. Many years later after his shop closed he told me he had one bike left in the box in his garage, a 1972 Orange Krate. There is a whole lot more to that story perhaps for another time but thought I would bring it up to show why I would sell the bike I have listed here, and basically it is because I have an NOS one which of course is a nicer bike. NO SHIPPING, I am in San Jose. Thanks.
I an sorry but I do not ship bikes. I understand completely that by not shipping bikes I am limiting myself to a fraction of the the potential buyers I would have if I shipped bikes. I know this but just do not ship bikes for quite a few reasons.

I guess I am out of touch with a lot of things. Never have sent a text and things like that, but what does GLWTS mean. Mike

Oh, okay, Thanks. I hate to say it, but I can be oblivious to what a lot of these abbreviations mean now days. But I guess it works both ways as I was talking to an Ebay rep the other day on the phone about an item I was returning and they could not for the life of me understand what I meant when I kept saying I would like to be made whole on the deal. And even after explaining several times that it meant when I return an item that was not as described I should not be out of pocket any money as they were trying to charge me for return shipping on an item that was not as described. Oh well.
