schwinn 24 inch cantilever horn tank

can anyone tell me the length of a 1950's schwinn 24 inch cantilever horn tank ? I have a tank that measures 15-1/2 inches and I thought it was for a schwinn 24 inch boys bike but not sure.

Yes , 15 1/2" - 15 3/4" That should be a 24" tank.

Thanks for taking the time to help I really appreciate it. I put one on E-Bay yesterday and have already recieved a bid, now I can breath a little easier. I was fairly certain it was a 24" thanks again. Mike
