I live for the CABE
Price reduced - on the way to eBay soon!
For sale is a pair of factory painted S7, 26 x 1 3/4" wheels with rubber.$200 $175 for the pair, shipped.
Both of the rims are well tensioned and very true with no blips or dents. The white painted rims with black pinstripes are in good condition with some light rust beginning to appear in places and a few small scrapes in places. The paint on the Yellowbands looks great and the front hub is stamped Schwinn Approved. There are no rusted, bent, or replaced spokes. There is some light rust on the shiny parts; these wheels are untouched as found, but they should clean nicely if desired.
The original axle nuts and washers in place along with old Westwinds as found. The rear tire holds air overnight but one "brick" tread block is missing. The front tire tread and bead looks intact all around but it will need a tube. These tires both have dry rot cracks and would be suitable for inflated display only.
The rear hub is a little stiff to spin by hand but shifts gears fine - the front axle spins freely and is not bent. Both rims were checked in a truing stand instead of "eyeballing" them and were examined them closely and described as best I can - please see the pics and ask questions.
They will be well boxed for the ride.
Thank you for your consideration!
