Schwinn Aerocycle display

I’ve slowed down on the bicycle collecting to focus on finding good stuff for my shop in downtown Atlanta. (70’s and 80’s roadbikes and 3 speeds)

Luckily an old contact called me and let me know this was going to be for sale.

One of the coolest things I’ve ever found. A 3D model of the 1930’s Schwinn Aerocycle tank decal...it’s 6ft long!

Headed to a friend with an Aerocycle now.

That Butterfly mounted to the handle bars is insane !
That bike destroyed the whole idea of good taste !

Yeah, from a catalog correct standpoint, it was definitely an art project.
But, the display as a whole was sure eye catching.
I'm glad to hear that the display has found a new home, rather than being ground up into wood chips to mulch the flower bed.

If I remember correctly that bike had a wood tank and just about everything else wrong with it. V/r Shawn
