Can anyone tell me what head badge should be on this schwinn? (Packard, admiral etc...?)

Although the tank decal design reminds of a B.F. Goodrich Challenger, you could put what ever you want. It could have had many different ones on it. Schwinn had hundreds! Barry

I think if it were Goodrich, it would say Challenger on the tank.

Here's some of the ones you could put on it. Excelsior and The World badges are pretty common. Lots of others are shaped like that, but they are less common and expensive.

Pretty much any Schwinn badge of that shape would work- Schwinn wasn't picky when it came to the early badges...

Here is one that is on my '51 dx that looks similar to yours.
