This bell came off an 50's phantom. Do you guys have an idea of what the value is?

I do not believe it is a 50's bell. Considering the condition it would not have great value. I've seen perfect ones like that go for $20-$30. Jmo, Ron

1971 Schwinn Catalog :

These are the Schwinn bell ringers that were available for 1971.

I bought a red phantom (1954) that came with a bell ringer which is
similar to the one labeled "ding-dong". (the one in the middle, it's round & heavy)

#01 005 --Deluxe Ding Dong Bicycle Bell with Approved Seal....$1.95.


I cannot tell you for sure if this bell is original for this bike year. Most likely
it was added in later years.

Prices vary...

This one on feebay is going for $9.99 ....this one for $34.99


btw: I once bought a Schwinn bell at a small antique shop for $5.
The vendor told me it was just a kids toy bicycle bell.

A week later at a bike swap, the same type of bell in poor condition was
selling for $100.
I asked the vendor about it.
He told me, "that's a very rare bicycle bell from the 1930s".

Riiigghhhtttt !
