Bike Recyclery
Look Ma, No Hands!
This is a dealer sales manual in the famous black binder, with tools and fixture/supplies catalogs added in. The sales manual served as an all inclusive guide to running a Schwinn dealer. It gives a unique look behind the scenes of a vintage Schwinn shop. Literally every aspect of shop life is covered, from franchising, store layout ideas, merchandising tips, historical sales data, sales devices, fixtures, store signs, tools, and all the order forms to order these with, plus so much more. One of the coolest sections is full of photos of historical Schwinn Cycles concept stores!
In addition to what came with the dealer sales manual, there are two additional and separate catalogs added to the back of the binder. One is a 1972 Dealer Tools Catalog, the other is Dealer Fixtures, Supplies, and Equipment Catalog from the same year.
This book seems a lot more rare than the Service Manuals in the same black binders.
*All of these collectibles came from a closed Schwinn dealer called Kings Cyclery in Casper, Wyoming that I bought out. Everything was ordered directly from the Schwinn factory.
Condition
Excellent to near mint condition. All order forms are present and unused. Binder is in excellent shape, with just very slight edge and cover wear. The vast majority of pages are clean and unworn with crisp edges. A few pages in section C have the holes reinforced with tape, and there's maybe 5 or 6 pages with torn punch holes.
