Schwinn Deluxe pedal real or repro

Can anyone share some insight as to the differences between the genuine and reproduction deluxe pedals?

What's the clue? The rubber looks old to me with age cracks at the ends. Someone adding nylocks makes them repops?

That's kinda what I was wondering. Half of them look original and half look newer. Maybe it's a mixture.

Also the original blocks have an identifier.... The rectangular cut out where the Schwinn and Deluxe are
has a small 'step' down into the area on the originals...the repros have no step in the recess area...
