Registry says its a 1954. Im not restoring it to anything original. My Dad was a collector and this was one he had laying around in bad shape. Did my own paint and had some nice original parts I found in the garage. So only a few parts short of what I want to accomplish.

The 1954 feather guard had the flat surface for the name decals.

don’t think the DX frame style was available in 1954.. would guess his serial # is on the bottom bracket.. do think the chainguard in the pictures above would be correct for a post war DX frame..
