Cruisin' on my Bluebird
For sale is a 1948 Schwinn dx fresh from the original owners family. The bike is all original aside from the brand new tires and pedals. Bike has been completely gone through aside from the forebrake, I’m not super familiar with them so decided not to mess with it but it works decently untouched. The brown rusty dust you see on the wheels is just from lack of cleaning the rust off after I steel wooled it, too cold in PA to work outside and properly hose it off and polish it but that’d all come off with a couple minutes of work with steel wool and compound. I waxed the bike 1 time lightly but it’d shine up great with another time over, paints very strong and is a good survivor. Do a bit of polishing here and there and you have a solid original condition postwar rider. Asking $625 plus shipping or deliver within an hour of bethlehem pa. Feel free to ask questions
