Ten miles already?! If you plan on many more miles a temp swap with an adult type seat might make the ride more enjoyable. The Mesingers that were used on the 70's and 80's Cruisers are better, cheap and easy to find. And it's pretty easy to add more or replace the padding.
It appears the front fender might have been off an American.

Most of my seats are the same Troxel model, by choice.

What speed is the yellow? Single? I’ll be checking on them seats. As for my other Schwinn here she is. Rough but there. Wrong seat etc.

Yellow band is an updated 2 speed. Has the same gear ratios as the red band, shares a few parts. Your 65 would have one

Finding a replacement seat for the ride. Bike rides very smooth and nice. Sadly my park is still flooded.. so we turned back around. Maybe at the end of the week I’ll make a full loop!
