Schwinn Find What Year And Model

This was todays find. What year would this be. The wheels on it are not correct. The guy I bought it from may have them in his grandfathers barn. I would guess balloon wheels before midleweight. It had a headlight on fender. Bars are not correct too. I have balloon wheels that would work but they are drop center. Looks like it had a rack, some scrapes on top of fender. Built in stand on it. After review of additional information and photos, this is one of the mis-stamped '46 models. It has the thinner dropouts, and the right parts to fit into that group.
Really nice old bike!!
