I just got my Schwinn Typhoon out of storage and started loading it up to take with me to a vintage trailer rally for transportation. I thought a working headlight would be nice, but I can't figure out how to get the lense / bezel assembly apart to check or replace the bulb. Luckily the batteries were taken out when it was stored so that part is all good.

Will the reflector unscrew from the bezel? I have all the other types of Schwinn ball lights but never had a pumpkin.

The lens comes off the front of those lights, it's just held in place by the three little tabs. If you bought it from someone on eBay, they may have added a bit of glue to hold the lens on. Then just inscrew the bulb. Hope that helps!

Good afternoon. Thanks for the tip. Yes, three tabs. I was able to get a dental pick with a hook next to a tab and carefully lift the lense out. My dad bought the Schwinn at a garage sale 25 plus years ago and it had the headlight already on it.
