Sold Schwinn Henderson October 1949 Boys 26" Original Black Phantom Bicycle

Any relationship to the Henderson motorcycle they bought out?

Just one of the many sub-brands Schwinn got sold thru....Its still Schwinn, just sold by Henderson.

I thought Schwinn owned Henderson and Excelsor motorcycles and badged some of their bicycles as such after those brands as motorcycles went defunct? Anybody know for sure?

I should have said “sold AS Henderson” and not “sold by”. What i meant...

Schwinn did own both Excelsior and Henderson. Between 1912 and 1930 they were actually more a motorcycle company than bicycle company. Plenty of reading on this subject. V/r Shawn
