Riding a '38 Autocycle Deluxe
This a Feb. 1977 Schwinn Hollywood. It does not need much, and for the price I got it, I think I can easily fix her up and keep her on the road. Thought I would share the progress....
Day I bought her:

Most of this is going to be a simple (nothing really ever is here) clean up, rust removal, maybe minor body work. The rear rim will need fixed.
First, the disassembly!
Rust in the crank? Dry bearings? Wow, I would never have expected this in a Schwinn.
Off to get washed up...
I gave up on the stem. It just would not budge.
Some progress:
Rear fender (back) is done. Front is not.
