1960s? Schwinn Jaguar Deluxe. Nice springer front end, red band hub, tank.

Tank has some dents, see pics. Chrome is decent. Wheels are true enough but needs some work. Sold as is.

Nice looking bike! This would be a 1963 with build date of 12/3/62 Schwinn Jaguar Mark V with front springer, slim line tank and Bendix 2 speed kick back. GLWS

I looked up the serial number on the rear left dropout, and it shows as the manufacturing date, as December 1962.

Yes he is saying a December '62 date indicates a bike sold in '63 because a part manufactured in December could not be assembled and sold in the same month. It would have been sold in the next year technically a '63.
