Trying to disassembly a Schwinn Krate Disc Brake. I cannot get this nut off. It turns but will not unscrew. Looks as if it is pressed on. Any know how to get it off.
It's a nylon insert Nylox nut, with a 3/8" wrench size. The bolt has a shoulder, it needs to be held from the other end with a wrench. The nut is tight against the bolt shoulder. The shoulder keeps it from squeezing everything together. Do break the bolt off, the nut (that is already half missing) is easy to replace.
