What has me confused about this tank is it has a mounting hole on both sides of the rear tank halves. Look at dimensions to see if it fits your frame. No rust rot.

Looks as if the rear bracket broke off and some was using some sort of screw and nut to hold the back together. Necessitated drilling the odd hole.
