Schwinn model #'s

Hi all , i was wondering if schwinn stamped any of their model #'s on their frames ? I thought i seen a stamp on the inside right dropout one time , but it might of been another maker ...... Thanks

Never Saw A Model Number...

On any late 30's to 80's Schwinns I've owned. Thats one reason that a nice original is worth than a restored bike to me. A restored one could have started out as a different model. Go to "Manage Attachments" and probe around,you'll figure it out.
