Schwinn oops 1947 canti chrome tank

Off or a 1947 Schwinn cantilever frame. It was chromed before I got it. Previous owner thought he had a 1953 frame and was going to build a phantom but it is a 1947 frame. Check the pics.
Chrome is showing some age. This tank did not fit any of my 1950s frame but does fit on the 1947 and 1940 cantilever frames I have.

I don't see why it won't fit the 50's heavy weight frames unless you have a middle weight frame. I have some 1949 tanks and they fit as they should in the 50's frames.
