This is not a reproduction, restored, or recovered seat. This is an original used 70's seat taken off a 1970 Stingray Fastback. Think it might but not guaranteed it was used also on Deluxe Stingrays as well. Seat really shows nicely. No tears or rips viewed on top of seat. It has a couple of tears I tried to point out on the bottom/side of seat that can be barely seen when installed on a bike. Bottom black seat pan has some wear and scratches/paint loss as shown. Some of the silver mylar is frayed on seat bottom. Some of the silver mylar is also missing on seat top but is hard to notice as the faux stitching is about the same color. Original seat tag has the pat pending lettering, also has the reflector tab on seat pan but no reflector included. Some wear and dirt where sissy bar mounts that is pretty much covered up when sissy bar is on. Has the reflector tab on seat. Comes with seat post clamp as pictured. Beautiful seat that my old Kodak digital camera does not do justice to. Sometimes I go overboard in describing flaws and the item sounds a lot worse than it is, I just try to give a good description of flaws I might see. Overall this in my opinion is a very sharp seat that would look really nice on a nice original paint orange Stingray. Sold AS-IS.
