Hello, I think your first bike is a Panther II .. Looks like they were made in 1959 & 60.. Information on bikehistory.org says stainless fenders but shows painted in 59.. The 1960 says chrome but shows both painted and chrome.. The Panther III I’m pretty sure are chrome..

Actually I forgot that piece of info, thank you for pointing that out! I forgot I had figured that out months after I got it. Someone put a panther 3 guard on it!

Yes looks like the only difference between the II and III is the painted fenders..

For pure aesthetics they are my favorite. They became light looking, but still look classic. Like 60s cars. My favorite era. Motorcycle, cars, blonde go go dancers and bicycles. Gimme the 60s
