Look Ma, No Hands!
Bought myself a decent, but little bit rough '55-'62 painted Schwinn springer, with the pivot bolt through
the fork legs. The bolt itself is a little too crusty for me to want to reuse, so my question
is, will one of the later muscle bike chrome pivot bolts work for my applicaton? The ones
listed on Ebay are never photographed with a ruler or yardstick background, and even if they
were, I wouldn't have any way to know if the tpi had changed. Just trying to keep myself from
spending money on something too long, too short, or won't thread. Thanks.

As long as it is a Schwinn pivot bolt it should work with your fork legs, I think maybe some older ones may have a longer bolt but the re pop ones from bicyclebones will work for your fork
