Drosentreter

Finally riding a big boys bike
Looking for any and all Identification, parts, and general information. Pretty excited about this bike. Took it in on a pile of parts that I just purchased. I recognized the frame as Schwinn, but I didn’t figure anything was left of the paint. Welp. I started to sandblast someone’s old brazed repairs and stopped instantly when I saw red and white paint. I haven’t ever tried the steel wool and WD40 trick, but I decided to see what all the fuss was about. And man am I glad I did. You may think that there isn’t enough paint there to save as an original, but I don’t care. I’m loving the way this bike looks, and maybe one day I’ll paint it, but maybe I won’t. I’ll spend some quality time with the welds and brazes and cracks, file them, and rebraze them to look close to original, and make it a rider. Hard to believe it had any paint left at all, but if anyone has correct parts for this model for sale let me know. I believe it to be a Schwinn C model, but I’m not sure on year. Serial number is T22432. My main concerns for parts is finding the correct head tube parts, and BB parts to make it rideable. Besides that I’ll pick up the other parts as they come along for sale.

Wore out three sets of tires already!
My main concerns for parts is finding the correct head tube parts, and BB parts to make it rideable.
Nice discovery! If headtube inner diameter is common 34mm, then cups are plentiful. Likewise if BB shell I.D. is common 51mm, BB cups plentiful. Headset, BB bearings often depend on if schwinn or non-schwinn races. Probly easier to find a fork that comes with headset assembly, crankset with bearings.
If you just need cups, bearings, let me know. I can throw some in the mail for shipping.

I live for the CABE
Hi, nice parts combo. I'm not looking for anything at this time. Are the top bb bin all Schwinn ? Are you able to identify different years by difference in design? Prewar / postwar etc.
