Can anyone tell me when and on what bikes Schwinn used the Westwood style S-5 rims with a Bendix coaster brake hub? Were these used on some lightweights like New Worlds? Travelers?
I'm pretty sure the S-5's were a 60's rim showing up in 1964. It replaced all the 26" S-6 rims on the bikes equipped with 1 3/8" tires like the Racer, Breeze, Speedster, Traveler, Collegiate etc.. The 26" S-5 part number was 3990.
