Schwinn skip tooth crank question

Is this a prewar crank? What model was it used on? I noticed it doesn’t have the extra holes where the crank arm locks into the chainring. Just the one.. It has been rechromed..

to my knowledge that is a prewar crank , called a dog leg crank . they had a boys version , longer crank arms than the girls version . (don know the different lengths) , Chain ring appears to be the early version of that 1 inch pitch style . (completely flat , verses off set teeth ) . I don't know the models it would have been used on .

I have a Schwinn B10 with a similar sprocket. It has holes near the crank shaft where yours is solid.

Correct, It appears to be a prewar crank without the holes.. Was wondering what bike it belongs too..

I've seen the version of the chain ring with no holes on photos of the Shelby Lindy, but since yours has an AS&CO crank, (and assuming the crank is original to the ring), it might be a prewar like this Schwinn Pullman.
