I also have to add here that this pivot bolt was 4 7/8 inches long. Plenty of length for the 'extra' washers and jam nut. My other pivot bolts arent that long

That was going to be my next question how long is that bolt? Ha

Most of what I have are the same length as yours. I only have 4 of these shorter bolts.


I'm pretty sure your fork is a 26" though, right?

Not sure what kind of explanation I was expecting but simple lock washer was not it. I mean, why not call it a lock washer

LOL, a "shake proof" sells for .05 cents. A common lock washer might bring .02 cents. It's all about the marketing in our world.

The industrial hardware store will call it an "internal star washer".
