Did Schwinn start using thicker truss rods on the cycle lock springer fork at some point in time? If so, would it have been in the early 50s? Exactly what years would thicker truss rods have come out with the cycle lock springer fork?
I'm assuming the skinnier rods were more common in 48. I'm trying to figure out what would have been more common in 52 and if they could have had either or in 52?
