schwinn springer fork

i was wondering if the truss rods on the springer fork of a schwinn like this one is the same as the newer ones and also does that go for the spring and the front "shroud"

The truss rods were smaller diameter until somewhere about 1949. The legs were also different on the prewar. The pic looks like a prewar girls springer.

smitty nailed it. diameter of the truss rods were bigger around w/the introduction of the phantom. pre war springers had shorrter steer tubes,too. pic that you have is a pre war girl's springer. (saw it on the bay). keith

yeah thats the one, basically I need to replace the truss rods on the one IM getting and I wondered if I can straight up replace them with new chrome ones, if not does anyone have a set forsale.
