Finally riding a big boys bike
This is a nice Survivor that was made in Chicago and spent it whole life in the Andersonville section of the city.
It was always kept inside a basement and spent many of it's last years in storage. The color is Brown and Cream.
The serial no. is G066951 . The Model is D-12 and it seems like everything but the tires are original.
The front tire is a Schwinn Typhoon 26" x 2.125 (brick pattern) and the rear tire is a Goodyear Studded Tread 26" x 2.125. Both hold air and are in decent shape for riding. The seat is the original Messinger seat and everything else looks original to me ..I'm not an expert but I'm sure that some experts on here will let me know . Very nice shape for a 72 year old Bike !
Sorry ,I don't ship bikes ...so local pickup .
